The season is officially underway! After a winter of rigorous training, the first race numbers have been pinned on, and our Argonauts are already climbing onto the first podiums.

The big news this spring is the arrival of the French brand Cébé for the eyewear section. This exceptional gear allocation offers our athletes maximum protection, whether in the middle of a race or in the transition areas! And another huge thank you to our historical partners who continue the adventure with us: Argon 18, Compressport, Ekoi, Waatdistribution (Huub and Neversecond), Azur Tri and Run (running), and not forgetting Performance & Coaching (mental preparation).

An Historic Start to the Season: The 8-Hour Barrier Smashed!

The standout performance of this early season is Nicolas’s SUB8 at the Frenchman, featuring a SUB4 split on the bike. All the work put in over the last 18 months toward going professional is paying off. Just one week prior, Pauline took the top step of the podium at Lacanau. And we could almost forget Victor’s incredible 2h20 marathon in Barcelona back in March!

These are athletes we’ve watched progress over several years. It’s not easy every single day, but their results make us proud and create an inspiring dynamic that lifts the whole team. Bravo!

Target Hawaii and the Summer’s Major Events

The rest of the season promises to be thrilling: we already have two athletes qualified for the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii (Kona), and others are highly motivated to join them. This summer, Team Argon 18 France will show up in full force at the circuit’s traditional events: Challenge Roth, Embrunman, Vichy, Mallorca, Gérardmer… The collective highlight will take place in early September at the Triathlon de Royan, where the team will be out in numbers.

Alliance of Excellence: Team Argon 18 France Partners with Cébé
We officialized our technical partnership for the 2026 season with the historical equipment manufacturer Cébé during the Cannes Triathlon.

Lacanau: Season Opener and First Victories for Pauline and Carole
Under pouring rain, Pauline Duboc took the overall win (1st Overall) after leading the race from start to finish, while Carole secured 4th place overall (1st Master).

A Big Weekend at the Frenchman
For the 5th year in a row, we turned up in numbers at the Frenchman. A weekend that allowed everyone to find a distance to fit their tri-suit: XS, M, L, XXL—there was something for everyone, and the organization was once again top-notch!

A More Than Successful Start to the Season
Nicolas kicked off the season at Ironman South Africa, taking the overall amateur victory within 8% of the winner’s time—his ticket to race in the Pro category next year. He did it again 4 weeks later: overall victory and a SUB8 this time!

2026 Team Building Camp
In January, as we do every year, we held our pre-season training camp. Gear distribution, a crêpe party, sharing schedules, and a surprise activity. This year, it was wheelchair basketball! A huge thank you to Stade Auxerrois Handisport and to Victor for organizing it.
